Siouxland Wildcat Golf Benefit Scheduled for August 23rd at Dakota Dunes

The annual Siouxland Wildcat Golf Benefit is scheduled for Monday, August 23rd at Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. The event begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. followed by a buffet meal from 5:30-7 p.m. For additional information contact either the WSC Alumni Office at 402-375-7209 or WSC Men's Basketball Coach Paul Combs at 402-375-7309. Former Wildcat Brett Spiker Signs Pro Contract in Europe

Former Wayne State men’s basketball player Brett Spiker signed his first professional European pro-contract yesterday, (Tuesday, August 3) agreeing to terms with Racing Luxembourg in the Luxembourg National 2 League. The 6’7” power forward from Chariton, Iowa was a First Team All-NSIC Selection for the Wildcats as a senior this past season averaging 12.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

WSC men's basketball announces seven recruits for 2010-11 season

Wayne State College head men’s basketball coach Paul Combs announced today that seven players, two transfers and five high school standouts, will be joining the Wildcat program for the 2010-11 season. The seven member recruiting class signed during the NCAA spring signing period includes junior college transfers Vontrell Seroyer of Ellsworth Community College (Iowa) and Derrell Williams of Wayne County Community College (Mich.) and high school standouts Adol Aluong of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Tyler Bauschek of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Patrick Kurth of Sioux City, Iowa, Terrell Newton of Huron, South Dakota and Ryan Rolfzen of Papillion, Nebraska.
