Wayne State College Women's Soccer Team drops season opener to Nebraska-Kearney

The Wayne State College women’s soccer team fell to Nebraska-Kearney 1-0 in the 2010 season opener at the WSC Soccer Complex in Wayne Thursday afternoon. UNK’s Becka Talcott scored the game’s lone goal in the 68^th minute to give the Lopers the victory over the Wildcats.

WSC picked 12th in NSIC women's soccer preseason coaches poll

The Wayne State College women’s soccer team was picked to finish 12^th in the Northern Sun Conference preseason coaches poll released Wednesday morning by the league office in Burnsville, Minnesota. The Wildcats received a total of 33 points in voting conducted by league coaches while senior co-captains Mikayla Comba and Emily Walker were selected as Wayne State Players to Watch in the NSIC this season.

WSC women's soccer coach Molly Grisham served as the head coach of a 12-member USA Athletes International team in Argentina June 1-11.

. This year, Wildcat women’s soccer coach Molly Grisham served as head coach of a team from the United States in international play against teams in Argentina.
