Woody Greeno Invite Men's Results
The Wayne State College men's cross country team placed 16th out of 20 teams in the college division Saturday at the UNL Woody Greeno Invitational held at Pioneer Park in Lincoln. The Wildcats finished 409 points. Colorado School of Mines captured the men's college division team title with 33 points followed by Central Missouri in second at 78 and Concordia of Nebraska third at 86 points.
Junior
John Kern had the top time for the Wildcats, finishing the 8,000 meter course 33rd overall out of 341 runners with a time of 26:32.
York Thomas finished 47th overall in 26:59 followed by
Matt Seiler in 101st place at 28:28,
Trevor Urkoski was 108th overall at 28:52 and
Jason Schaaf finished 120th overall at 29:29.
Wayne State will return to competition on Saturday, October 3 when the Wildcats compete at the South Dakota State Invitational in Brookings, South Dakota.
