Wayne State College stayed seventh in the newest NCAA Division II Baseball Central Regional Rankings released this afternoon (Wednesday, April 21) by the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The Wildcats are 20-15 overall and 19-10 against teams within the Central Region that is made up of teams in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in games played as of April 18th. 

                The top seven teams in the region are the same as last week with New Mexico Highlands first followed by Winona State, Minnesota State, St. Cloud State and Mesa State in the top five.  Nebraska-Kearney and Wayne State remain sixth and seventh while Minnesota Duluth replaces Augustana in the eighth spot this week.  The top six teams in the region at the end of the regular season qualify for the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
