Wayne State College head women's basketball coach Brian Ortmeier has announced the addition of four student-athletes to fill out the 2026-27 Wildcat roster.  The group includes two transfers – Abby Aslesen (as – lease – un) from Howard, S.D. Wayne State visits Sioux Falls Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday home contest vs. Southwest Minnesota State for Senior Day at 1 p.m. to close out the NSIC regular season.  The Wildcats are 10-16 overall and 5-15 in league play while the Cougars sit 11-15 on the season and 8-12 in the league.
