What super power would you like to possess? X-ray vision (who wouldn't want that)
Future career goal: To have my own construction company
Most influential person in your life: My dad - he taught me everything I know. He's the hardest worker I know.
Most influential person in your athletic career: My older brother. In my mind he was always a better football player and wrestler so I strived to be as good as he was.
Who would you like to have a conversation with? My grandpa - he died when I was young. I would like to have known him better.
What makes you the person you are today? My great family and friends - without their influence and support I don't know where I'd be today.
Coach McLaughlin's comments: Mike has been one of our best defensive linemen from the first day he walked on campus. Playing 'nose tackle', which is probably the most difficult position to play on the defensive side, Mike draws double team block on virtually every snap, yet he manages to push the pocket and threaten opposition quarterbacks, in addition to controlling their run game. A tremendous leader on and off the field, Michael Bazata is one of the best football players to play at Wayne State in my seven years here.
