Carl Ellermeier

The late Carl Ellermeier attended high school at Clay Center, Nebraska. Ellermeier then went to Wartburg College and the University of Iowa. He came to WSC in 1955 as an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Science and was the assistant football and basketball coach. Later he took on the job of head track and cross country coach, a position he held until his death in 1967.

Ellermeier was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame February 3, 1979.
