Cecil "Red" Lingenfelter

Cecil "Red" Lingenfelter earned 11 varsity letters as a basketball, football and track and field standout at Wayne State College from 1934-1938. A native of Oakdale, Lingenfelter was a center in basketball, tackle in football and threw both the shot put and discus in track and field.

Lingenfelter graduated from Wayne State in 1938 and was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in the fall of 1990.
