Dean Elofson

Dean Elofson was on the most successful basketball teams in WSC history during his years at WSC (1966-1970). He was a multi-year All-District and All-Conference forward on the Wildcat squads that participated in the NAIA National Tournament for three years. At the time of induction, Dean ranked in the Top 10 in seven different categories in the WSC record book and held the school record for most consecutive basketball games played with 106.

Following his stellar career at WSC, Elofson, a native of Wayne, was drafted by the then San Diego Rockets of the National Basketball Association in 1970.

Elofson was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in 1983
