Pat Holston

 

Pat Holston was a defensive back and kick returner for the Wildcats during his playing career (1969-1972) at Wayne State College. The Elizabeth, New Jersey native was an honorable mention NAIA All-American during his junior season (1971). Holston earned the Alice Buffet Outstanding Teachers Award and was also named Secondary Teacher of the Year in Nebraska. He taught a number of years in the Omaha Public School system and also coached at Omaha Benson High School.

 

Holston was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in the fall of 1992.
