Wayne State 0 Augustana College 0

    Wayne State and Augustana College battled to a 0-0 tie in double overtime Sunday afternoon in Wayne, America. The tie makes the Wildcats 2-8-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the NSIC and while the Vikings are 4-4-4 overall and 1-1-3 in league play.

            Wayne State goalkeeper Emily Walker led the Wildcats making a season high 10 saves. Katlyn Bowman led the Vikings with five shots with two of those being on goal.

            Augustana outshot the Wildcats 29-2 in the contest with 10 of the Vikings shot being shots on goal. Augustana also led in corner kicks with a 9-2 advantage. 

             Wayne State will be at home again next weekend, hosting Upper Iowa Saturday and Winona State Sunday in Northern Sun Conference matches starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Wayne State College Soccer Complex.
