2013 Outdoor: National qualifier in the discus, finishing in 16th place at NCAA DII Championships in Pueblo, Colorado with top throw of 159' 0"...competed in the discus, hammer, and shot put during the season...set a new school record and NCAA provisional mark in the discus at the Vance Butler Invite to finish second with a throw of 170'10"...had a first place finish in the hammer throw at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a toss of 166'10"...finished second at the NSIC Championships to earn All-Conference honors in the hammer throw with a throw of 177'9"...also threw the discus and shot put at the NSIC Championships tossing the discus 128'3" and the shot 44' 6 1/4".

2013 Indoor: Wright was an NCAA Division II national qualifier in the weight throw after throwing a season best mark of 59' 2" to place second at the NSIC Championships on 2/23/13...at nationals, Wright scratched on all three marks and did not place...also competed in the shot put during the season and was sixth at the NSIC Championships with a mark of 49' 7 3/4"...had a season best throw in the shot put of 52' 6 3/4" at the South Dakota Open on 2/15/13.

2012 Outdoor: Competed in the shot put, discuss and hammer throw for the Wildcats...placed third at the NSIC Championships in the discuss with a NCAA provisional mark of 164'5"...was fifth at the Wildcat Classic in the shot put with a throw of 47'8"...finished 10th in the hammer throw at the Kip Janvrin Open with a throw of 155'5".

2011 Outdoor: Competed in three events at NSIC Championships, placing sixth in the discus at 150' 1"...also placed 13th in the hammer throw (139' 6") and 15th in the shot put (40' 4 3/4")...had season best throw of 156' 0" in the discus to finish third at Prairie Wolf Invite on 4-22-11...had season best toss of 44' 5 1/4" in the shot put to place seventh at Howard Wood Relays on 5-7-11.

2011 Indoor: Scored points in two events at the NSIC Championships on Feb. 25-26 in Bemidji, Minnesota...finished seventh in the shot put with season-best mark of 49' 11" and placed seventh in the weight throw at 52' 11 1/2"...had season-best mark of 53' 3 1/2" in weight throw at Wildcat Open on 1-22-11 to finish fourth.

2010 Outdoor: Sat out season as a medical redshirt.

2010 Indoor: Placed eighth in the weight throw (53' 3/4") at the NSIC Championships in Mankato and finished 17th in the shot put (42' 6")...had season best performance in weight throw at the Wildcat Open on 2/13/10 placing first with mark of 55' 11 3/4"...had season best mark of 47' 11 1/4" in shot put at the Mankato State Open on 1/30/10...had a season best finish of second (46' 3 1/4") in shot put at the Wildcat Open on 2/13/10.

2009 Outdoor: Placed third in the discus (152') at the NSIC Outdoor Championships...also placed in three events at the Mount Marty Open on 3-29-09, finishing second in the discus (142' 9"), fifth in the shot put (42' 6 3/4") and fifth in the hammer throw (116' 4")...was fourth in the discus (127' 11") and seventh in the shot put (40' 2") at the Wildcat Open on 4-3-09.

2009 Indoor: Competed in the shot put and weight throw during the season, finishing 11th in the weight throw with a season-best mark of 49' 3 1/2" at the NSIC Indoor Championships in Bemidji...also competed in shot put and was 25th at NSIC meet with mark of 40' 9 3/4"...threw season-best 44' 2" in shot put to finish third at Wildcat Open in Wayne on 2-14-09...also finished sixth in the weight throw (46' 3/4") at the Wildcat Open.

Personal: Graduate of Ewing High School...son of George and Gina Wright...born on May 24, 1989...also plays on Wildcat football team on offensive line...majoring in exercise science.
