2009 Spring: Saw action in two tournaments during the 2009 spring season...placed fifth overall in the WSC Spring Invite on March 22-23 with rounds of 77-73 for a 150...shot 85 on April 20 in extremely windy conditions at Midland Lutheran Invite.

2008 Fall: Competed in one meet for WSC during the fall season...shot rounds of 86 and 84 for a total of 170 at the Briar Cliff Invitational on September 22nd and 23rd.

Before Wayne State: Attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk for one year and was a member of the Hawks men's basketball team.

High School: Was a multi-sport standout at Norfolk High School, starring in football, basketball and golf...played in the Class A Boys State Golf Tournament as a junior and senior...shot 76-78 (154), just missing a medal to finish in a tie for 16th individually while helping Norfolk HS to a fourth place team finish...in junior season, qualified as an individual and shot 77-79 for a two-day score of 156...earned First Team Class A and Second Team All-Nebraska honors from the Omaha World Herald in basketball as a senior after averaging 18.5 points a game...also selected Second Team Class A All-State by Lincoln Journal Star as a senior in basketball and was All Greater Nebraska Athletics Conference selection three straight years...scored 41 points during senior season to tie single game school scoring record.

Personal: Parents are Bruce and Sally Shively...born on October 21, 1988...majoring in sport management at Wayne State...older brother Drew also a member of the WSC men's golf team.
