2013 Outdoor: Competed in the shot put and hammer throw...took home a first place finish at the UNL Pre-Drake meet in the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 53' 7 1/2"...was fifth at the NSIC Championships in the shot put with a toss of 51' 4 1/2"...had a season best throw in the hammer at the NSIC Championships to finish10th with a distance of 148'10"...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2013 Indoor: Participated in the shot put and weight throw during junior season with WSC...placed 8th at the South Dakota Open with a season best throw of 49' 9 1/4" in the shot put...threw 47' 11" in the weight throw at the NSIC Indoor Championships to finish 13th...selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2012 Outdoor: Competed in the shot put...finished third at the Concordia Open with a toss of 49'11 3/4".

2012 Indoor: Participated in shot put and weight throw during indoor season...finished 12th at NSIC Indoor Championships in shot put with mark of 46' 9"...had season-best mark of 49 3/4" in the shot put at WSC Mini Meet (2-18-12).

2011 Outdoor: Had season best mark of 46' 3 1/2" in the shot put to finish second at Wildcat Classic...was sixth in the shot put at Howard Wood Relays on 5-7-11 with throw of 45' 1/2".

2011 Indoor: Competed in the shot put during indoor season...was 13th at the NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 44' 6 1/4"...had top throw of 45' 7 3/4" at the Mankato State Open on 1-29-11 to finish 10th overall.

Before WSC: Played two seasons of football at Hastings College.

High School: Graduate of Winside High School...All-District football selection in 2006 and 2007...Academic All-State in 2007...was also an All-Conference selection in basketball in 2008.

Personal: Son of Chuck and Dawn Peter...born on January 15, 1989...education major at Wayne State College.
