2014 Outdoor: Ran leg on fourth place 4 x 100 meter relay team at the NSIC Championships (42.55)... had top time of 11.43 seconds in the 100 meter dash to finish third at Prairie Wolf Invite (4/18/14).

2014 Indoor: Competed in the 60 and 200 meter dashes during the indoor season...ran time of 25.95 seconds in the 200 meter dash at the NSIC Indoor Championships...had season-best time of 23.71 seconds in the 200 at the Dordt Invite on 1/18/14...best time in the 60 meter dash was 7.12 seconds at the UNK Pre Holiday Invite (12/14/13) and the Wildcat Open (1/25/14).

2013 Outdoor: Did not compete during the 2013 outdoor season.

2013 Indoor: Ran in both the 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash for Wayne State College...best meet of the year was the Concordia Indoor Invite where he ran his best time in both events finishing 21st in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.21 and was 29th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.03.

2012 Outdoor: Finished seventh in the 200 meter dash at the Nebraska Invite with a time of 23.18 seconds...had a season best time of 11.36 seconds in the 100 meter dash at the NSIC Championships to finish 19th.

2012 Indoor: Participated in three events during freshman season at WSC...placed 19th in both the 60 meter dash (7.22, season best) and 200 meter dash (23.42, sesaon best) at the NSIC Championships...ran a season low 6.81 in the 55 meter dash at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite.

Before Wayne State: Competed two seasons at Iowa Western Community College...received the Superior Award for Academic Achievement from the National Junior College Athletic Association in 2010-11 after posting cumulative grade point average of 3.95.

High School: Graduate of Bellevue East High School.

Personal: Son of Montague and Sarah Samuel...born on May 6, 1991...majoring in physician assistant.
