2009: Competed in every meet for the Wildcats in her senior season... ran a season best 5k at the SDSU Open on 10/03/09 with 20:38... had a top 20 finish at the Pre-Regional in Wayne on 10/09/09 finishing 20th in 24:17 (6k)... concluded the season at the NCAA Central Region Championships in Wayne on 11/07/09 with a personal best 24:12 (8k). 

2008: Competed in all six meets for Wayne State in junior season...finished sixth in the Northern State Open on 9-5-08 to open the season with a time of 17:05 (4K)...had a 26th place finish at the UNK Pre-Regional on 10-11-08 with a time of 24:41.30 (6K) and a 28th place finish at the Dakota State Invite on 9-27-08 with a time of 20:13 (5K)...ran season-best time (6K) of 24:22 at NCAA Division II Central Regional Championships in Kearney on 11-8-08...named to the 2008 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2007: Competed in all six meets for WSC during sophomore season...ran season-best time of 24:26 on a 6,000-meter course with a 22nd place finish at the NSIC Championships in Winona, Minnesota on 10-20-07...ran top time on 5,000-meter course of 21:04 at the Briar Cliff Invitational on 10-6-07, helping WSC to second place team finish...one of five members of WSC women's cross country team named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2006: Ran a season-best time of 19:56 at the Briar Cliff Invite on 10-7-06 to finish 10th. . . Finished one spot away from the All-Conference team after an 11th place finish at the NSIC Championships in St. Paul, Minn., on 10-21-06 with a time of 25:02. . . Ran a personal best time of 24:35 (6K) at the North Central Regional on 11-4-06.

High School: Graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School where Gibson starred in cross country and track and field...lettered two years in cross country and was an individual state qualifier both seasons, finishing 22nd as a senior (16:33) and 34th as a junior (17:25) in Class B...earned Academic All-State and All-Conference honors in track and field and was co-captain of cross country team as a senior...ran leg on G.I. Northwest's fourth-place 4 x 800 meter relay team at 2005 Class B State Track Meet.
