2009: Made successful switch from defensive to offensive line, starting all 11 games at left tackle... earned Second Team All-NSIC South Divsion honors... part of an offensive line that helped Wayne State lead the NSIC in total offense (461.4) and pass offense (296.8).
2008: Saw action in nine games at backup defensive end and on special teams, recording three tackles with two solo and one assisted stop...had one tackle and one pass breakup at Upper Iowa on 10-4-08...also had tackles vs. Bemidji State on 10-11-08 and at Augustana on 10-25-08.
2007: Blackburn appeared in seven games as a backup defensive lineman and was credited with 10 tackles on the season...Had eight solo and two assisted stops with one sack and one tackle for loss...Recorded three solo tackles with a sack for minus five yards in 26-24 win at Northern State on 10-6-07...Also had three tackles vs. Minnesota, Crookston on 9-29-07.
2006: Sat out season as a redshirt.
High School: Earned First Team All-Conference honors at defensive end for Omaha Northwest in 2005, recording 66 tackles, 7.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and one interception. . . Received honorable mention all-state honors as a senior. . . Was a three-year starter in football, also lettered two years in basketball and started one season.
