Biography

2009: Saw action in six games as a member of special teams and as a backup linebacker... had two tackles each at MSU Moorhead (9-5-09) and against St. Cloud State (9-12-09)... also had a solo tackle at Minnesota State on 9-19-09.

2008: Appeared in eight games as a special teams performer and backup linebacker...had eight tackles with four solo and four assisted stops...had three solo tackles at Chadron State in NCAA playoff game on 11-15-08...also had two tackles at Upper Iowa on 10-4-08.

2007: Did not appear in any games.

2006: Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School: Earned All-District honors in football as a junior and senior and served as captain in senior season for football and basketball. . . Averaged 10.7 tackles per game and scored four touchdowns on defense for the Braves.

Personal: Son of Ron and Tammy Stender. . . Born on October 22, 1987. . . Major is undecided. . . Hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping and golfing.
