2022 Indoor: Competed in one event...placed ninth in 3000-meter run with a time of 9:45.09 at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi (12/3-4/21).
High School: Graduate of Omaha Skutt Catholic High School...standout distance runner...in cross country, was a three-time Class B state medalist that included state champion as a senior with a time of 16:21...ran on three straight Class B state champion teams from Skutt Catholic and earned Super State Cross Country honors as a senior...also finished seventh in Class B as a junior and 12
th as a sophomore...in track and field, captured a third place medal in the 3,200-meter run (10:03) as a senior and was 11
th in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 4:37...was also an Academic All-Conference honoree in both sports...personal bests for Richards are 4:36.51 in the 1,600 meters, 9:58 in the 3,200 meters and 16:21 in cross country.
