Biography
2011 Outdoor: Competed in the pole vault and long jump during the outdoor season...placed seventh at the NSIC Championship in the pole vault clearing 14' 9"...also clear 14' 9" at the Northwestern College Invite on 4-9-11...had season best jump of 18' 10" in the long jump to place ninth at Howard Wood Relays on 5-7-11...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2011 Indoor: Finished 10th in the pole vault with a top mark of 13' 7 1/4" at the NSIC Championships in Bemidji, Minnesota Feb. 25-26...had season-best mark of 15' 1 3/4" in pole vault at UNL Tuneup Open on 2-18-11 to finish seventh...also competed in long jump at several meets with season-best mark of 19' 11 1/2" at NSIC Championships...one of seven WSC athletes selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2010 Outdoor: Placed seventh in the pole vault at Sioux City Relays on 4-17-10 with mark of 14' 0" and also ran leg on 4 x 400 meter relay team at Sioux City Relays...competed at NSIC Decathlon in Aberdeen, South Dakota until suffering injury during second day of competition.
2010 Indoor: Just missed placing in the heptathlon at the NSIC Indoor Championships finishing ninth with 4,235 points...also competed in pole vault and was 11th clearing 14' 6 1/4"...had season best effort of 15' 1 1/2" at Nebraska Tuneup Open on 2/19/10 to finish in tie for eighth place.
Personal: Graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School...born on April 3, 1990...majoring in education.
