2011-12: Competed in all six meets for the Wildcats during the season...best meet of the season was the NSIC Fall Preview where he shot a 161 (87-74)...shot a 260 at the RMAC/NSIC Crossover with rounds of 87-88-85...scored a 166 (84-82) at the Wildcat Spring Invite on 4-2-12...finished 49th at the NSIC Championships with rounds of 92-86-94-93 for a total of 365.

2010 Spring: Competed in two meets during the spring season...shot 83-81 (164) at the WSC Spring Invite on 3-29-10 and shot rounds of 83-82 (165) at the Winona State Invite on 4-19-10.

2009 Fall: Did not compete in any fall events.

2009 Spring: Appeared in two events during the 2009 spring season, shooting 80-81 (161) at WSC Spring Invite on March 22-23 to finish in a tie for 25th overall...also shot 89 in windy conditions at Midland Lutheran Invite on April 20.

2008 Fall: Competed in two events during the fall season as a sophomore...shot a season-best 76 at the Northwestern Invitational on 9-3-08...also competed in the NSIC/RMAC Golf Invitational on 9-29-08 and 9-30-08 recording rounds of 82, 83, and 82 for a total score of 247.

2007 Fall: Competed in all nine events during the fall season as a freshman, recording a stroke average of 80.75 in 12 rounds...shot season-best 74 at the Briar Cliff Invitational on 9-17-07...shot rounds of 82 and 84 (166) to finish in tie for 35th place at the NSIC Championships in Becker, Minnesota on October 6 and 7. 

High School: Graduate of Papillion-LaVista High School...was a four-year starter and letter winner in boy's golf, coached by WSC graduate Joe Pudenz...Barnes was a Second Team All-District selection as a junior and shot 87-81 (168) in the 2007 Class A Boys State Golf Tournament as a senior helping Papillion-LaVista place eighth as a team.

Personal: Son of Ross and Alison Barnes...born on January 6, 1989...major is criminal justice.
