2010-11: Named Northern Sun Conference Men's Golfer of the Year after capturing individual medalist honors at the Northern Sun Conference Championships...shot rounds of 69-74-69-73-71 for a one-over par 356 over 90 holes...was individual medalist at WSC Spring Invite on April 1-2 with rounds of 73 and 70 for a one-under par 143...shot 10-under par 206 (68-69-69) to place third at the RMAC Spring Championships in Phoenix, Arizona...named NSIC Men's Golfer of the Week three times during the season...finished with season stroke average of 74.375 on 24 rounds...qualified for NCAA Central/West Regional for third straight season, shot 80 and 80 in first two rounds before withdrawing due to flu...was named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team and was selected NSIC All-Conference for third straight season.
2010 Spring: Led Wildcats with a 74.83 average score during spring season...started the season with a first place finish at the WSC Spring Invite shooting 74-70 (144) to earn NSIC Golfer of the Week honors...tied for 5th at the Upper Iowa Invite on 4-3-10 with 75-73 (148)...also placed 6th at the Winona State Invite with scores of 73-74 (147)...at the NSIC Championships shot rounds of 74-76-75-76-76 and was named NSIC First-Team All Conference for the second straight year...was selected as an individual qualifier for the NCAA Central/West Region May 3-5 in Palm Desert, California...shot rounds of 76-82-74 (232) to finish 65th out of 108 players.
2009 Fall: Played in all seven tournaments during the fall 2009 season, ranking third on the team in 18-hole stroke average with a 78.0...shot season-best 71 in opening tournament at Iowa Western (9-4-09) to finish fifth overall...shot 74-76 (150) to tie for seventh after the first 36 holes of the NSIC Tournament, played 10-4/5-09 at Hastings, Minnesota.
2009 Spring: Became just the second player in WSC history to qualify for NCAA Division II Men's Golf Tournament and was first Wildcat player since Kyle Lindstrom in 2003 to earn NSIC All-Conference honors in men's golf...finished fifth in 108-hole NSIC Championships point system to earn First Team All-NSIC honors...shot rounds of 74 and 72 (146) in final two rounds of NSIC Tournament in Lake City, Minnesota April 10-11 that was seventh best in final 36 holes....was individual medalist with a 75 to win by four strokes in windy conditions at Midland Lutheran Invite on April 20th...shot season-best 71 to tie for fourth overall at the NSIC Warmup Tournament in Lake City, Minnesota...shot rounds of 76-75-78 (229) to finish in a tie for 49th place out of 90 players at the NCAA Division II Men's Central/West Regional in Lincoln May 4-6...finished season with team-best 75.69 stroke average.
2008 Fall: Had another stellar season for the 'Cats...competed in seven meets, recording a team-best 74.9 stroke average...had four top 10 finishes including first place finishes at the All Nebraska Collegiate Invitational as well as the Hastings College Invitational to close the season...shot two rounds of 69 at the Hastings College Invitational which set a new Wayne State College record for a 36 hole tournament...finished in third place in the Briar Cliff Invitational on September 22 and 23 after rounds of 76 and 70 (146)...shot 69 and 79 (148) to finish in a tie for ninth place in the NSIC Championships on September 14th and 15th.
2007 Fall: Had one of the best seasons ever in WSC men's golf history, recording a team-best stroke average of 74.33 while playing in all nine events...shot season-best scores of 71 to win the WSC Invite on 9-14-07 and 71 at the Northwestern Invite on 9-28-07 to also claim individual medalist honors...fired a 72 at the Morningside Invite on 9-18-07 to take second place...shot 82 and 76 (158) at the NSIC Championships in Becker, Minnesota on October 6 and 7 to finish in a tie for 24th.
High School: Graduate of Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City, Iowa....three year letter winner in golf and baseball...won the Junior Interstate Golf Tournament two years in a row and tied for fourth in the Sioux City Men's Tournament two years in a row.....All-Conference golfer three seasons and also earned All-Conference in baseball as a first baseman.
Personal: Son of Danny and Jean Fields of Sioux City, Iowa.....born on September 28, 1987....majoring in criminal justice.
