High School: Graduate of Scottsbluff High School... was multi-sport standout, starting three years in football, track and field and baseball and one year in basketball...was quarterback on Class B playoff team in football...posted .377 average with 47 hits, 34 runs scored and 32 RBI on summer legion team while also appearing in 12 games as a pitcher with 28 strikeouts in 25.1 innings and a 2.73 ERA during 2015 season...had .439 average in 2014 legion season with two homers...earned Academic All-State honors in football and was All Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference.

Personal:  Son of Mike and Teresa Halley...born July 14, 1997...majoring in health and physical education.
