High School: Graduate of Howells High School...earned Class C-2 All-State honors at offensive line from the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star as a senior and was a two-time All-District selection...finished with 175 tackles, seven sacks and 11 tackles for a loss in his career...helped the Bobcats to a 45-3 record in four seasons with two Class D-1 State Titles...also excelled in wrestling and qualified for the state wrestling tournament as a junior.

Personal: Son of Bernie and Theresa Hegemann...born on September 20, 1989...majoring in Math Education.
