Biography

2013:  Was named NSIC South Division honorable mention after starting all 11 games on the Wildcat offensive line at left tackle...was a three year starter on the offensive line.

2012: Started all 11 games at left tackle during junior season at Wayne State...was named to the NSIC Second Team Offense for a second straight season after helping the Wildcats rush for 1,936 yards and pass for 1,961 yards in 2012...selected to the Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska Football Team.

2011: Started all 11 games at left offensive tackle during his sophomore season for the Wildcats...had one solo tackle vs. Nebraska-Kearney on 9/1/11...was named to the All-NSIC Second Team for his efforts during the season.

2010: Appeared in seven games with two starts as a true freshman in 2010...did not record any stats.

High School: Graduate of Battle Creek High School...Schlote was selected to the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star Class C1 All-State Teams...helped Braves reach the Class C1 Playoffs as a senior and was named to the Norfolk Daily News Class C Elight Eight Squad...was a three year starter in football and also started in basketball...selected All-District and All-Area as a senior in football...placed fifth in Class C shotput at State Track Meet as a junior (53' 4 1/4") and was second as a senior with a top throw of 54' 2"...selected to play in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl on 6-19-10, made four tackles for the North Squad.
