2013:  Saw in action in season opener at Northern State and made three tackles before suffering season ending injury.

2012: Played in eight games on the defensive line for Wayne State during the season...had 11 tackles (six solo, five assisted) with three tackles for loss for five yards and half a sack for two yards...had a season best game with three tackles (two solo, one assisted) with 1.5 tackles for loss for two yards in the season opener at MSU Moorhead.

2011: Appeared in three games for the Wildcats during his freshman season as a backup defensive linemane...had two tackles with one solo and one assisted with one tackle for loss on the season which all came on 9/10/11 at Minnesota, Crookston.

High School:  Graduate of Gross Catholic High School...Tolbert earned Class B First Team Defense All-State honors from the Omaha World Herald as a senior...was an All-Metro First Team selection as well as All-River Cities Conference selection...recorded 86 tackles in 2010 and 42 tackles in 2009...two time Gross High School Defensive Lineman of the Year...also a standout track and field athlete, winning district shot put title in 2010.
