High School: Graduate of Boone Central High School in Albion, Nebraska where he competed in football, basketball and golf...as a senior, he was a Class C-1 All-State honorable mention selection and was named to the Norfolk Daily News Class C All-Area Team and All-Heartland Second Team by the Grand Island Independent (punter)...was named Second Team All-State in football in 2012...was part of the C1 state runner-up in football in 2012 with a 11-2 overall record where he caught four balls for 101 yards in the championship game and was also part of a state runner-up basketball team in 2013 going 23-7...racked up 700 yards receiving in the 2012 football season.
