Biography

2014:  Appeared in one game vs. Augustana (10/18/14), credited with two kickoff returns for 36 yards with a long return of 23 yards.

2013:  Saw action in six games during the season as a return specialist and backup running back...had seven kickoff returns for 130 yards for average of 18.6 yards per return...had season-long 29 yard return at Minnesota State (11-2-13)...added three receptions for 18 yards and one rush for no yards...had two catches for 15 yards vs. Mary (9-14-13).

2012: Played in five games for the Wildcats as a backup running back and punt returner...recorded 10 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown on three carries...had 56 punt return yards on 11 returns...had a season best game at MSU Moorhead on 9-1-2012 with three rushes for 10 yards and a touchdown while returning five punts for 20 yards.

2011: Appeared in one game as a backup running back for Wayne State during the season...recorded one carry for zero yards vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 10/1/11.

2010: Sat out 2010 season as a redshirt

High School: Graduate of Kearny High School in San Diego, California...lettered and started two years in both football and basketball.

Personal: Son of Kendrick Hester and Tiffany Simmons...born on August 5, 1991...criminal justice major with a minor in communications at WSC.
