High School: Graduate of Burwell High School...set numerous school records while leading Burwell to three straight playoff appearances including the Class D-1 state championship game as a senior...accounted for 3,393 total yards, including 2,308 yards passing, during senior season while scoring 59 touchdowns (33 passing, 26 rushing)...Sikes was named to the Class D-1 All State teams by the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star and was named offensive cpatain of the Grand Island Independent 8-Man Super Squad.

Personal: Son of JB and Renee Sikes...majoring in health and physical education (PK-12).
