2009: Played in three games as a backup defensive end, recording one tackle and 0.5 tackles for loss for one yard at MSU Moorhead on 9-5-09... also played against St. Cloud State and Mary

2008: Did not play in any games.

Before Wayne State: Sells played both football and basketball in the 2005-2006 school year at Phoenix Community College and foucused on football in 2006.

High School: Sells was an All-State defensive end and All-Region basketball player in high school at McClintock HS in Arizona.
