Biography

2014:  Recorded 32 tackles during senior season while starting nine of 11 games at outside linebacker...had 3.5 tackles for loss for 14 yards, 1.5 sacks for 10 yards and one interception for 53 yards and a touchdown at Southwest Minnesota State (10/25/14)...also credited with four pass breakups and three quarterback hurries...credited with season-high six tackles twice - at St. Cloud State (9/13/14) and vs. MSU Moorhead (9/20/14)...had four tackles with one sack for 10 yards vs. Bemidji State (9/6/14).

2013:  Played in all 11 games with eight starts and played much of the season with a broken hand at outside linebacker finishing with 42 tackles...tied for team lead with seven pass breakups and had three quarterback hurries with five tackles for loss (18 yds) and two sacks for minus seven yards...had nine tackles with two tackles for loss and one sack with two quarterback hurries and three breakups at Augustana (10-5-13) and had nine tackles with two breakups and one tackle for loss vs. Upper Iowa (11-9-13)...also had four solo tackles and a sack for five yards against Minnesota Duluth (9-28-13).

2012: Appeared in 10 games for the Wildcats during red-shirt freshman season...recorded 33 total tackles (16 solo, 17 assisted) while forcing one fumble and breaking up one pass...recorded a season high six tackles twice this season with six tackles at MSU Moorhead and six tackles at Bemidji State...notched five tackles while forcing a fumble at Concordia-St. Paul on 10-20-2012.

2011: Appeared in season-opening game on 9/1/11 vs. Nebraska Kearney...did not record any stats during the 2011 season as a backup defensive back.

2010: Sat out 2010 season as a redshirt.

High School:  Graduate of Battle Creek High School where Bierman was an All-Mid States Conference selection in football as a junior and senior...helped the Braves reach the Class C1 State Football Playoffs...multi-sport standout at Battle Creek starting three seasons in football, four years in track and field, and two years in basketball.

Personal:  Son of Joel and Shelly Bierman...born on June 15, 1991...majoring in criminal justice.
