Biography

2017: Named All-NSIC First Team South Division at quarter back...season was cut short in the seventh game suffering a season ending injury at Winona State...completed 108 of 192 passes (56.2%) for 1,480 yards and 14 touchdowns with just five interceptions...at the time of his injury was leading the NSIC in passing yards per game, second in passing TD's, fourth in total offense and fifth in pass efficiency...completed 16 of 22 passes for 293 yards and four TD's vs. University of Mary (9/9/17) and threw another four TD's the following game at Minnesota Crookston, going 14 of 23 for 253 yards...threw for season high 380 yards completing 28 of 46 passes vs. Minnesota Duluth (9/23/17)...named WSC Male Athlete of the Year.

2016:  Completed 224 of 405 passes (55.3%) for 2,666 yards and 25 touchdowns with 15 interceptions...had four games with over 300 yards passing and had at least one touchdown passing in all 11 games...also ranked second on the team in rushing with 410 yards on 130 carries with four TD's...named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week (10/17/16) after accounting for 431 yards of total offense and five TD's in 41-39 win at SMSU...completed 23 of 33 passes for 348 yards and four scores and had another 83 yards rushing on 11 carries with one score vs. Mustangs...threw for season-high 386 yards completing 28 of 43 passes and three TD's vs. Minnesota State (11/5/16)...rushed for season-high 116 yards on 22 carries with one score vs. Winona State (10/22/16).

2015:  Earned medical redshirt after suffering season-ending injury early in second game of the season at Minnesota Duluth...completed 15 of 23 passes for 259 yards and four TD's and ran for another 48 yards on three attempts with one TD against Minnesota Crookston in season opener.

2014:  Named All-NSIC South Division Honorable Mention Offense after throwing for 3,291 yards and 25 TD's during sophomore season at quarterback...completed 260 of 446 passes (58.3 %) while averaging 299.2 yards per game passing...led the NSIC in total offense per game (324.4) and ranked second in passing yards and ninth in efficiency rating (132.1)...had six 300-yard passing games including two over 400 yards...threw for career-high 499 yards vs. Augustana (10/18/14), completing 39 of 59 passes with three TD's...was 31 of 52 for 443 yards and five TD's vs. MSU Moorhead (9/20/14)...was the team's third leading rusher with 277 yards on 72 carries and one TD...rushed for career-high 137 yards on 15 carries and scored one TD at Sioux Falls (11/15/14).

2013:  Started 10 of 11 games at quarterback during redshirt freshman season, completing 146 of 310 passes for 2,149 yards and 18 TD's with 11 interceptions...threw for season-high 318 yards and three TD's at Winona State (10-19-13), completing 24 of 51 passes...completed 10 of 19 passes for 249 yards and three scores at Minnesota Crookston, including a 97-yard TD pass to Adam Stark that tied for the second longest pass play in school history...also had three TD passes in single game vs. Minnesota Duluth (9-28-13)...was 19 of 46 for 203 yards with two TD's and one interception at Northern State (9-7-13) for second most completions during the season.

2012: Redshirted during freshman season at WSC.

High School: A multi-sport standout at Harlan Community High School where he started four years in golf, three years in basketball and two in football and baseball. Football accolades include: 2010 First Team All-District, 2011 First Team INA (Iowa Newspaper Association) All-State, 2011 All-District First Team, 2011 Academic All-Conference, 2011 SWI (Southwest Iowa) Football Player of the Year – Omaha World Hearld. In 2009, his football team went 14-0 and won the state championship and was a state football semi-finalist in 2011. During his senior season, Osborn completed 217 of the 366 passes he attempted for 3,303 yards and 33 touchdowns while also rushing 98 times for 293 yards and 10 TD’s on the ground. He finished his Harlan career with 5,904 passing yards and 56 passing touchdowns. Osborn was also All-Conference in golf and basketball in 2011.

Personal: Son of Mitch and Nancy Osborn...born on 12/27/1993...majoring in criminal justice with a minor in coaching at Wayne State.
