2010: Ran in five meets during season...was 26th at NSIC Championships in Wayne on 11-6-10 with time of 27:16...had top 8,000 meter course time of 26:17 at Briar Cliff Invite on 10-9-10 to finish 23rd overall out of 182 runners...named to NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2009: Competed in every meet for Wayne State during his junior year... had a season best fifth place finish at the Pre-Regional meet held in Wayne on 10/09/09... ran a personal best 8k time(26:35) at the NSIC Championships to finish 13th and earn Second Team All-NSIC honors, marking the third straight year in which he has earned All-NSIC honors... at the NCAA Central Regional meet he ran a personal best in the 10k (33:44) and was the Wildcats top runner overall finishing 42nd overall...named to the 2009 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2008: Competed in all six meets for Wayne State during his sophomore season...finished a season-best third at the Northern State Open on 9-5-08 with a time of 20:20 (6K)...ran a time of 26:37 (8K) to finish ninth at the Dakota State Invite on 9-27-08...earned Second Team All-NSIC honors after finishing in 16th place at the NSIC Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota on 10-25-08 with a time of 26:45.

2007: Competed in every meet for the Wildcats...had a season-best time of 26:49 at the NSIC Championships in Winona, Minnesota on 10-20-07 to finish 10th place overall, earning All-Northern Sun Conference honors as a freshman...finished seventh overall at the Briar Cliff Invitational with a time of 27:30 on 10-6-07...came in 84th overall in the 10K with a time of 34:17 at the North Central Regionals on 11-3-07.

High School:  Graduate of Lennox High School in South Dakota...was a four-year starter and letter winner in cross country and track and field...placed 24th at South Dakota Class A State Cross Country Meet as a senior and earned Academic All-State honors...helped Lennox win state championship in cross country in 2004 and runner up finishes in 2003 and 2005.

Personal: Son of J. and Marilyn Thomas...Born on May 16, 1988...majoring in exercise science with coaching endorsement.
