2023 Outdoor: National qualifier in high jump for second straight season, placing 11th clearing 6' 8 1/4" at NCAA Division II Championships in Pueblo, Colorado...won the high jump at NSIC Outdoor Championships with top mark of 6' 7 1/2"...set new school record in high jump clearing 7' 1/4" at USD Tuneup (5/5/23) to take first place...also won high jump at Mount Marty Twilight Meet (4/26/23) clearing 6' 8 3/4", Emporia State/Midwest Classic (4/23/23) with top mark of 6' 9" and 6' 9 3/4" to win USD Early Bird Invite (4/8/23)...repeat selection to NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2023 Indoor: Named USTFCCCA All-American Second Team after placing 12th in high jump at NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships (3/11/23) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, clearing 6' 8 1/4"...was All-NSIC after second place finish in high jump clearing 6' 9 1/2" at NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships...set new school record in high jump twice during season...broke record on 1/21/23 clearing 6' 10 3/4" at Concordia Polar Dog Invite and again at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/18/23) clearing 6' 11 1/2", taking first at both meets...also won the high jump at the Concordia Classic (2/3/23) clearing 6' 9 1/2" and again at Mount Marty Last Chance Invite (2/11/23) clearing 6' 7"...earned NSIC Winter All-Academic Team honors.
2022 Outdoor: Earned All-NSIC honors with a second place finish in the high jump clearing a career-best height and new school record of 6' 11 1/2" at the NSIC Outdoor Championships...was a national qualifier for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships (5/27/22) in high jump and placed 12th clearing 6' 9 1/2" to earn Second Team All-American honors...named USTFCCCA All-Central Region in high jump...also qualified and placed 16th in the long jump with a career best leap of 22' 0 1/4" at the NSIC Outdoor Championships (5/12-14/22)...had a first place finish in the high jump clearing 6' 11" for a new school record at the Prairie Wolf Invite (4/28/22) - previous school record was set 37 years ago by Joe Ortmeier...finished second in the high jump with a 6' 6 3/4" and second in the long jump with a 21' 4 3/4" at the Wildcat Invite (3/25-26/22)...recorded a top-five finish in every meet in the high jump event this season...named to NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2022 Indoor: Collected All-NSIC honors with a third place finish in the high jump, clearing a career-best 6' 8 3/4" (NCAA provisional mark) at the NSIC Indoor Championships in Mankato (2/26/22)...took first place in high jump at two meets, clearing 6' 7" at the Lancer Last Chance (2/12/22) and 6' 6 3/4" at the SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/19/22).
2021 Outdoor: Earned medal with eighth place finish in high jump clearing 6' 2 3/4" at NSIC Outdoor Championships in Duluth, Minnesota...placed first at the WSC Challenge (5/1/21) with mark of 6' 4 3/4"...also cleared outdoor-best 6' 4 3/4" at Central Nebraska UNK Challenge (4/3/21) to take sixth...was first at season-opening Wildcat Classic (3/27/21) in high jump clearing 6' 2 3/4".
2021 Indoor: Recorded fourth place finish in high jump, clearing 6' 6 3/4" at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/26/21)...took first at the NDSU/Bison Open with season-best mark of 6' 8 3/4", an NCAA provisional qualifying mark...won high jump in collegiate debut, clearing 6' 4 3/4" at WSC Wildcat Invite (1/16/21)...finished second at Herschel Neil/Northwest Missouri State Invite (1/30/21) clearing 6' 6"...was fourth in high jump at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/20/21) clearing 6' 6 3/4".
High School: Graduate of Wisner-Pilger High School...was a three year starter in track and field and football and two years in basketball...was the Class C State Champion in the high jump as a junior clearing 6' 6" and is a three-time state qualifier in the event...was named to the Norfollk Daily News All-Area Basketball Second Team as a senior and helped the Gators reach the Class D1 state football playoffs two seasons.
