2015 Outdoor:  Ran leg on seventh place 4 x 400 meter relay team (3:20.21) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships...just missed placing in the 800 meter run, taking 10th with time of 1:55.68...ran season-best time of 1:53.16 in the 800 meter run to finish first at Mount Marty Twilight Meet (4/22/15)...finished third in the 800 meter run at Wildcat Classic (3/28/15) with time of 1:56.81...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2015 Indoor:  Recorded eighth place finish in the 800 meter run with time of 1:55.32 at the NSIC Indoor Championships...also ran leg on seventh place 4 x 400 meter relay team (3:24.36)...top time in the 800 meter run was 1:54.73 at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic (2/14/15)...took first in the 600 meter run (1:24.28) at the Wildcat Classic (1/31/15) and was first in the 1,000 meter run (2:34.77) at the Minnesota State Preseason Open (12/6/14)...was a repeat selection to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2014 Outdoor: Scored points in two events at the NSIC Championships, taking seventh in the 800 meter run (1:54.72) and running leg on new school record setting 4 x 400 meter relay team that was sixth with a time of 3:18.94...had season best time of 1:54.09 in the 800 to place eighth at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays (5/3/14)...had top time of 49.75 in the 400 meter dash to place third at the Prairie Wolf Invite (4/18/14)...selected to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2014 Indoor: Earned All-NSIC honors with a second place finish in the 600 meter run at the NSIC Indoor Championships with time of 1:21.60...also ran anchor leg on the 4 x 400 meter relay team that was fourth with time of 3:23.88...set new school record in the 600 meter run with time of 1:20.58 at the Husker Invite on 2/8/14...set new meet record to take first place in the 800 meter run at the Concordia Invite in Seward on 2/14/14 with time of 1:55.91...ran season-best time of 1:55.80 in the 800 to finish fifth at Minnesota State Open on 2/1/14...selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team for a second straight season.

2013 Outdoor: Competed in four events during the season...was part of a first place 4x400 meter relay team at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a time of 3:23.15...finished second in the 400 meter dash at the Prairie Wolf Invite running a 49.73 and was also fifth in the 200 meter dash at 23.09...finished ninth at the NSIC Championships in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.10...also ran the 4x400 meter relay at the NSIC Championships as the team finished seventh with a time of 3:25.68...selected to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2013 Indoor: Participated in five events for WSC during sophomore season....placed 1st in the 1,000 meter run at the Wildcat Open with a time of 2:41.14...finished 2nd at the NSIC Indoor Championships in the 600 meter run with a season best time of 1:21.63...was 6th in the 800 meter run at the Nebraska Tuneup Open with a time of 1:55.44...one of seven Wildcats to receive NSIC Winter All-Academic honors.

2012 Outdoor: Competed in three events for Wayne State...finished sixth at the Concordia Open in the 200 meter dash at 23.32 seconds...also finished sixth in the 800 meter run at the Nebraska Invite with a time of 1:54.57...placed 10th at the Wildcat Classic in the 400 running it in 50.56 seconds.

2012 Indoor: Placed in two events at the NSIC Indoor Championships, finishing fourth in the 600 meter run with a season-best time of 1:22.10 and also ran leadoff leg on 4 x 400 meter relay team that placed third with time of 3:24.25...ran season-best time of 1:58.90 in the 800 meter run at Polar Dog Invite at Concordia (Seward) on 1-14-12.

High School: Graduate of Wayne High School...was a standout cross country and track and field runner for the Blue Devils...as a senior at state track meet, earned three medals with fourth place finish in Class B 800 meter run (1:59.87), fifth place in 400 meter dash (50.78) and ran anchor leg on fifth place 4 x 800 meter relay team...was a four year state cross country qualifier, helping Wayne to Class C third place finish in junior season, fourth place finishes in sophomore and senior seasons and sixth place in freshman season.

Personal:  Son of Craig and Tammie Thomsen...born on May 19, 1992...majoring in health and physical education with a coaching endorsement.
