Wayne State College

2013-2014: Played in 17 games as a reserve guard, averaging 0.8 points and 0.5 rebounds per game...averaged 3.9 minutes per game shooting 29.4 percent from the field (5-17) and 50 percent at the free throw line (1-2)...scored season high five points while playing season high 10 minutes against Dominican (Calif.) on 11/29/13...also had four points with season high two assists vs. Peru State (11/9/13).

Before Wayne State:  Played two seasons at Moorpark Junior College in California...in 2012-13, averaged 6.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game in 32 contests, helping team to 19-13 record while advancing to the California Community College Athletic Association Regional Final.

High School:  Graduate of Villanova Preparatory School in California...was a four year starter in basketball and two year starter in volleyball...holds the school record for career assists and was named All-Tri Valley Conference First Team in basketball as a junior and senior and was named First Team All-Conference in volleyball as a junior.

Personal:  Daughter of Jason and Mary Catherine Root...born on April 14, 1993...majoring in political science and criminal justice at WSC.
