2016:  Competed in all six meets and was the top finisher for the Wildcats in every meet...top finish was 13th at the Dakota State/Herb Blakely Invitational (9/10/16) with a time of 20:13...top 5,000-meter time was 19:05 at the Briar Cliff Invite (10/8/16) and season-best 6,000-meter time was 23:44 at the NCAA Division II Central Regional Meet in Sioux Falls (11/5/16)...selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team and received the NSIC/Myles Brand All-Academic With Distinction Award.

2015: Was Wayne State's top runner at all six meets during the season...placed 16th at the Dakota State Invitational with a time of 20:13 (9/12/15)...season-best time on 5,000 meter course was 19:21 at the Briar Cliff Invitational (10/10/15)...top 6,000 meter time was 23:45 at NCAA Division II Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri on 11/7/15...was a repeat selection to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2014: Participated in six meets during her sophomore season...was the top finisher at the season opening Augustana Twilight meet in Sioux Falls (9-5-14) with a time of 18:54 on the three-mile course...had a season best finish of 45th at the Briar Cliff Invitational (10-11-14) with a time of 20:24 on a 5,000 meter course...top 6,000 meter time was 25:47 at the NCAA Central Regional in Wayne (11-22-14)...was one of four Wildcats named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2013: Competed in all seven meets during freshman season...had season-best finish on a 5,000 meter course at Dakota State Invite (9-14-13), finishing 19th in 21:17...was Wayne State's #2 finisher in three meets during the season, including the Briar Cliff Invite (10-12-13) running time of 20:52 on 5,000 meter course...ran season-best time on 6,000 meter course at NCAA Central Region Championship (11-9-13) with time of 25:35.

High School: Graduate of Plattsmouth High School where she ran cross country for three seasons...three time state qualifier in cross country sophomore through senior years with a best finish of 26th in 2012 with a final time of 16:19.2 to help Plattsmouth to the Class B State Runner Up title...NCPA Academic All-State in 2011 and EMC Academic All-Conference in 2012.

Personal: Daughter of Ernest and Christine DeSimone...born on July 20, 1995...majoring in special education at Wayne State.
