2013 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
2013: Ran in six meets during freshman season...was Wayne State's top finisher in first four meets of the season and #2 placer at the NSIC and NCAA Central Region Championships...had season-best finish of 10th place with time of 20:40 at the Dakota State Invite (9-14-13)...season-best time on 5,000 meter course was 20:17 at the Briar Cliff Invite (10-12-13)...ran times of 24:25 at the NSIC Championship (10-26-13) and 24:52 at the NCAA Central Region Meet (11-9-13) on 6,000 meter courses.
High School: Graduate of West Point-Beemer High School where she ran cross country for two years...two year state qualifier placing 13th with a time of 16:20 in her junior season and was sixth her senior year running a 15:28 to be named All-State Cross Country...during her senior season she broke the school record on five occassions while leading the team to a first place conference finish and fourth place at the state meet.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Jane Smidt...born on November 4, 1994...majoring in accounting at Wayne State College.
