Biography
2013: Ran in all seven meets during freshman season...had season-best finish of 38th place at the Dakota State Invite (9-14-13) with time of 23:05...was Wayne State's #3 finisher at the NSIC Championships (10-26-13) with time of 25:39 on 6,000 meter course...top time on 5,000 meter course was 22:07 at Briar Cliff Invite (10-12-13).
High School: Graduate of Burke High School where she ran cross country during all four years...three time state qualifier freshman through junior seasons...best finish was sophomore season placing 29th with a time of 16:03...as a freshman, cracked the top 25 finishes all-time at Burke HS with a 19th ranking.
Personal: Daughter of Pete Hanika and Jennifer Tinsley, born on 3-7-1995...majoring in health and physical sciences at WSC.
