Biography
2010: Competed in five of six meets during season...ran season-best time (5K) of 21:49 at Mount Marty Invite on 10-23-10...top 6,000 meter course time was 25:08 at NCAA Central Regional in Wayne on 11-20-10...one of three WSC runners named to 2010 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2009: Ran in all six meets during her junior year at WSC... ran a season best 5k at the SDSU Open of 20:33 on 10/03/09... finished the year with a season best 24:34 (6k) at NCAA Central Region meet in Wayne on 11/07/09...selected to the 2009 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2008: Competed in all six meets for WSC during sophomore season...had a third place finish to open the year at the Northern State Open with a time of 17:05 (4K)...finished in 22nd place at the UNK Pre-Regional on 10-11-08 with a time of 24:34.00 and ran season-best time (6K) of 24:27 at the NCAA Central Regional Championships in Kearney on 11-8-08...one of six WSC runners named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2007: Competed in all six meets for the Wildcats as a freshman...had top finish of 15th place with a time of 20:15 on 5,000-meter course at the Briar Cliff Invite on 10-6-07...finished 19th at the NSIC Championships in Winona, Minnesota on 10-20-07 with time of 24:19...posted season-best time of 23:40 on a 6,000-meter course at the NCAA Division II North Central Regional Championships in Vermillion, South Dakota on 11-3-07.
High School: Graduate of Ainsworth High School where McIntosh was four-year letter winner and starter in cross country and track and field...qualfied all four years for state cross country meet and ran on Ainsworth's unbeaten team that captured Class C State title in 2004...finished 21st as a senior in time of 16:46 to help Ainsworth to fourth place finish and was 29th as a junior (16:54) to help Ainsworth to second place finish in Class C in 2005...was a three-year state qualifier in track and field, running leg on 4 x 800 meter relay team.
Personal: Daughter of John McIntosh and Rebecca McIntosh...Born on January 11, 1989...major is elementary education.
