2016 Outdoor: Ran in six meets while competing in the 4x8 relay, 3,000 meter, 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter runs during the outdoor season...recorded a first place finish at the Sioux City Relays (4/15/16) in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 40:22.28...also recorded a first place finish posting a time of 19:58.83 in the 5,000 meter run at the Wildcat Classic (3/22/16)...was part of the 4x8 relay team that posted a time of 10:34.85 and a sixth place finish at the ESU Relays (4/2/16)...repeat selection to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2016 Indoor: Particpated in six meets and ran the 3,000 meter, 5,000 meter and 6,000 meter runs during the indoor season...had a season-best time of 11:16.62 at the NSIC Indoor Conference Championships (2/27/16) in the 3,000 meter run...also posted a season-best time of 19:32.88 in the 5,000 meter run at the NSIC Indoor Conference Championships...named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2015 Outdoor:  Competed in several distance events during the outdoor season...ran top time of 19:20.47 in the 5,000 meter run to place 22nd at the NSIC Outdoor Championships (5/8/15)...posted season-best time of 5:13.37 in 1,500 meter run at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet (4/22/15)...finished 12th in the 10,000 meter run at the NSIC Outdoor Championships with a time of 40:36.07...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2015 Indoor:  Ran the 3,000 and 5,000 meter runs during the indoor season...had season-best times of 11:36.30 in the 3,000 meter run at the Wildcat Open (1/31/15) and 19:55.34 in the 5,000 meter run at the SDSU Indoor Classic (2/14/15)...finished 20th in the 5,000 meter run (20:02.77) at the NSIC Indoor Championships.

2014 Outdoor: Competed in two meets during the outdoor season...was second in the 5,000 meter run at the Viking Classic (22:18.41) and was fifth at the Prairie Wolf Invite with season best time of 21:23.44.

2014 Indoor: Redshirted

High School: Graduate of Plattsmouth High School where she ran cross country for three seasons...three time state qualifier in cross country sophomore through senior years with a best finish of 26th in 2012 with a final time of 16:19.2 to help Plattsmouth to the Class B State Runner Up title...NCPA Academic All-State in 2011 and EMC Academic All-Conference in 2012.

Personal: Daughter of Ernest and Christine DeSimone...born on 7-20-1995...majoring in special education at Wayne State.
