Biography
2014 Outdoor: Competed in the 1,500 meter run and 3,000 meter steeplechase in the outdoor season... had top time of 12:33.86 in 3,000 meter steeplechase to finish ninth at Sioux City Relays (4/12/14)... was fifth at UNK Loper Invite in 1,500 meter run with time of 5:08.49.
2014 Indoor: Ran anchor leg on distance medley relay team that placed seventh at NSIC Indoor Championships...competed in one mile run and 3,000 meter runs during the season...top time in the one mile run was 5:33.32 to place 15th at Minnesota State Open (2/1/14)...was third in the one mile run at Wildcat Open (1/25/14) with time of 5:38.88...finished eighth in the 3,000 meter run (11:04.72) at the Concordia Invite on 2/14/14.
High School: Graduate of Bertrand High School where she was a four time state qualifier in cross country...helped her team win four straight district championships from 2009-2012 and the team never finished lower than fifth at state going fourth, third, fifth, fourth during her four seasons...best individual place at the state meet was during freshman season in 2009 placing 21st with a 16:37...best individual time at state was in 2010 when she finished 27th with a time of 16:30.
Personal: Daughter of Miguel and Maria Murillo, born on 6-5-1995...majoring in pre-dental hygiene at Wayne State College.
