Kirk Gardner Indoor Athletic Complex
The Kirk Gardner Indoor Athletic Complex was originally completed in September, 2020. The 30,000-square foot space in the former Carlson Natatorium was a multi-use athletic and recreation space with artificial turf, netting system, storage and offices.Â
In the fall of 2025 the facility was renovated and replaced with a basketball/volleyball wood floor with wall-hung baskets and volleyball post inserts to serve as an auxiliary/practice gym for student athletes, general student use and collaborative community use. The facility became functional and available for use the last week of January, 2026.
The Kirk Gardner Indoor Athletic Complex also houses employee offices on the balcony level above which oversees the facility for baseball, soccer and women's golf.Â
