Ralph Barclay Sports Medicine Center

The Ralph Barclay Sports Medicine Center opened December 1, 2005 and brings a state-of-the-art athletic training facility to its campus. The 4,000 plus square foot center is located next to the Wayne State College Recreation Center and will serve as the hub of treatment and rehabilitation services.

Dedicated to quality care, the Ralph Barclay Sports Medicine Center provides the finest in sports rehabilitation and athletic training services to Wayne State student-athletes.  

The Ralph Barclay Sports Medicine Center represents excellence; a total commitment by Wayne State College to the health of its' students.  The facility was named in honor of Dr. Ralph Barclay, who spent 33 years as a coach and professor at Wayne State.  He was chairman of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Division and in recognition of his significant commitment to the college, then WSC President Richard Collings and alumnus Regg Swanson made the request to the Nebraska State College Board of Trustees to officially named the center in Ralph Barclay's honor.Â
