Wayne State and Doane College battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie in non-conference women's soccer played Wednesday afternoon at the WSC Soccer Complex.  WSC is now 1-13-3 on the season while Doane College has a 8-6-2 overall mark.

WSC held a slight 14-13 advantage in shots over Doane and had seven corner kicks to five for the Tigers.  Doane goalkeeper Alicia Exstrom recorded seven saves for the shutout while WSC freshman goalkeeper Emily Walker was credited with six saves for her third shutout of the season. 

Doane had the best scoring chance in the overtime periods as Anna Farlow had a breakaway shot but was denied by WSC goalkeeper Emily Walker in the 107th minute to preserve the 0-0 tie.

Wayne State will close out the regular season on the road this weekend, visiting MSU Moorhead Saturday and Concordia-St. Paul Sunday with both contests starting at 1:00 p.m.
