UNK Pre-Holiday Open Track Results

Sophomore Paige Pollard set a new school record in the women's pentathlon competing for the event in the first time at the UNK Pre-Holiday Open Indoor Track and Field Meet Friday and Saturday in Kearney, Nebraska.  The Newcastle, Nebraska native finished second place in the event with 3,046 points, topping the old school record of 3,035 points set by Jade Lippman last season.  Lippman was right behind Pollard finishing in third place with 3,029 points, just six points shy of her own school record.  Both athletes were less than 100 points off the provisional national qualifying mark.
