Wayne State looks to strengthen is hold on a spot in the 2010 NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament as the Widlcats travel to Southwest Minnesota State for an 8:00 p.m. contest Wednesday evening at the R/A Facility. The Wildcats (12-12 overall, 9-9 NSIC) moved from ninth to seventh in the league standings over the weekend impressive road wins at Northern State (73-58) and at Mary (76-53) while SMSU is tied for eighth in the NSIC with wins at Northern State and Upper Iowaat 8-10 in league play and 13-11 overall.

    In the first meeting this season between the two clubs, Wayne State outlasted Southwest Minnesota State 83-74 in double overtime in Wayne on January 23rd.
