Defending NSIC regular season champion Wayne State will begin defense of their women's basketball title from last season as the #4 Wildcats host Minnesota State Friday and Southwest Minnesota State Saturday to open Northern Sun Conference play this weekend.  The 6-0 Wildcats meet 4-0 Minnesota State Friday night at 6 p.m. in a matchup of the last two unbeaten teams in the NSIC while SMSU enters league play this weekend 1-2 on the season.
