#19 Wayne State College forced 30 attack errors on St. Cloud State while holding the Huskies to a -.008 attack percentage as the Wildcats rolled to a 25-18, 25-11 and 25-17 Northern Sun Conference volleyball win Friday evening at Rice Auditorium in Wayne. WSC is now 15-5 on the season and 7-3 in the NSIC while St. Cloud State falls to 6-12 and 2-8 in league play.
The Wildcats got off to a quick start, recording 14 kills in the first set for a 25-18 win. WSC then forced SCSU into 12 attack errors in the second set cruising to a 25-11 win over the Huskies and then forced another 12 attack errors in the third set while recording 10 kills in a 25-17 win to complete the sweep.

Cori Hobbs had 10 kills and nine digs to lead a balanced Wildcat attack as WSC hit .233 in the match. Freshmen
Leisa McClintock and
Katie Hughes added seven kills apiece. McClintock was credited with 22 set assists while libero
Courtney VanGroningen had 11 digs with Hughes contributing 10.
Wayne State will be at home again Saturday afternoon hosting #3 Minnesota Duluth in a Northern Sun Conference match beginning at 4 p.m.
