#2 Concordia-St. Paul 3 #18 Wayne State 0

            #2 Concordia-St. Paul hit .368 for the match to record a 25-20, 25-18 and 25-14 Northern Sun Conference volleyball victory Friday evening over #18 Wayne State College at Rice Auditorium in Wayne, Nebraska.  The visiting Golden Bears move to 19-3 on the season and 13-2 in the NSIC while Wayne State falls to 18-7 and 10-5 in league play.
            The Golden Bears recorded 49 kills in the win while WSC had 32.  Both teams had four blocks while Concordia-St. Paul held a 53-41 edge in digs.
            Junior outside hitter Cori Hobbs paced Wayne State with a team-high 13 kills followed by Katie Hughes with six.  Courtney VanGroningen led the Wildcats in digs with nine followed by Hobbs with eight and setter Leisa McClintock was credited with 26 set assists.  Junior Tatum Wroblewski had two of Wayne State's three service aces.
            Kayla Koenecke had a game-high 17 kills for Concordia-St. Paul followed by Ellie Duffy with 12 and Cassie Haag 10.  Kara Pioske had 13 digs with Amanda Konetchy handing out 43 set assists in the win.
            Wayne State will be at home again Saturday afternoon hosting #14 Minnesota State in a Northern Sun Conference contest starting at 4 p.m.
